Me. Love. Dirty Rice.
And you should too. Let’s review, it’s quick to make, it’s easy, it’s cheap and it’s darn good eats. (with apologies to Alton Brown) Call it Dirty Rice, Cajun Rice, Cajun Fried Rice… whatever you call it, I love it.
So much so, I named my blog after it.
Of course what would a dirty rice blog be without dirty rice recipes? Don’t worry, I’ll have plenty. But tonight I have to finish taking down the last Christmas ornaments… and looking for my king cake recipes.
BTW - The cover photo is on loan from Zatarain’s. I prefer my own cooking but I must admit, there’s a box or two of there mixes in my pantry at all times. It’s great when you’re in a hurry. - And I couldn’t live without their crab boil.
